We are trying to take as many precautions as possible to protect you and our Staff.

With everything going on right now we feel it is in everyone's best interests to cease having face-to-face meetings in our office until the Government suggests that Coronavirus cases are managed.

Good news:

If we already have your documents, we should be able to complete your returns by the Original April 15^th deadline.  Note, information is changing hourly within the Government (at both the Federal and State levels).  First it was reported that there would be an extended date waiving late payment of tax penalties until  7-15-2020.

Apparently hours later, there was another announcement allowing late filings past the original due date. With this shortened time-frame, we imagine it will be difficult to re-calibrate the Government’s computer systems to disregard penalties and the original due date.  And we do not want clients to receive inadvertent late filing notices. 

Therefore we plan to complete returns by the Original 4-15-2020 due date, if we have all information needed to finalize so that your return can be posted earlier than those who decide to wait. 

If a tax extension is needed, we will communicate with you, if we have some of your information.  CONTACT US to let us know you need a Tax Extension if you have NOT provided your information as of today. 

Here’s how we will get your returns to you:

If you are ALREADY set up on the Client Portal:

1. We will alert you to sign your eFILE authorizations on RightSignature 

2. Your complete returns will be uploaded to the Client Portal for you 

3. We will mail your original documents and a hard-copy of your return to your home (or contact us if you prefer a different address) and we will provide tracking number

If you have not signed and WANT to sign up for the Complimentary Client Portal, CONTACT our office IMMEDIATELY and we will email the REQUIRED authorization for the complimentary Client Portal usage to you 

1. We will alert you to sign your eFILE authorizations on RightSignature 

2. Your complete returns will be uploaded to the Client Portal for you 

3. We will mail your original documents and a hard-copy of your return to your home (or contact us if you prefer a different address) and we will provide tracking number

If you can NOT use the Client Portal, we can MAIL a Hard-copy return to you

If you MUST drop by the office please CALL (919) 544-0398 to schedule a time so that we will be available to receive your drop-off.

If you have NOT dropped off any of your information yet

1. Upload your data to the Client Portal, if you are already set up (or request REQUIRED authorization if you need to be set up)

2. Mail your information to our Office using EXPRESS Mail or USPS tracking so that you can track delivery status (you can email tracking # to us)
