Investing in Innovation is a three player game, the national government, the market economy and speculators.  These three players combined with emerging technologies will disrupt markets then as markets rises bubbles are created.  Innovation has been occurring for centuries from textile machines to printing press computer to the internet.

Joining us for our discussion on Technology & Investing is William Janeway  who is calling in from his London England Office.  William H. Janeway is a Senior Advisor and Managing Director of Warburg Pincus. He joined Warburg Pincus in 1988 and was responsible for building the information technology investment practice. Dr. Janeway is a director of Magnet Systems and O'Reilly Media. Dr. Janeway is a member of the board of directors of the Social Science Research Council and of the Field Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences and the board of governors of the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He is an affiliated member of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge.  He is the author of “Doing Capitalism in the Innovation Economy ”.  Welcome to Mastering Your Money, is William Janeway.
